Hello everyone! Tamer Kali here to start off the jogress guide! I'm no expert on the subject, but if I get anything wrong then Poke AK can kick my bottom and make me fix it.
One common question I see in the battle server is "what jogre?" which I can only assume means "What does jogress mean good sir or madam?"
If you're from America like me, you may not know that jogress basically means "DNA Digivolve." Yes, just like in 02 and many of the Digimon World games. Basically, DNA digivolving is the combination of two compatible digimon to create the next stage of evolution.
Now I know what you're thinking. "How will I know what my digimon is compatible with?"
Well, you can use this link here to find out! This is based on the old pendulum games so it may not be 100% accurate, but the creator has gone out of his way so far to make it as authentic to the older V-Pets and Pendulums thus far. lcd.wtw-x.net/files/jogress.py
Simply click on your current digimon and then "search." It will then highlight all the compatible digimon for jogress!
Not all jogress partners are created the same mind you. Different types can give different results. If you are a data type that jogresses with a virus, you will get one thing. If you are a data that jogresses with a vaccine, you get something different.
Knowing which sprite is which can be tricky mind you, so I recommend when you enter the jogress room that you make a room with your digimon's name so that people know what it is.
Now, another common question about jogress. "I can't get into the jogress server! Why!?" Well this can be for a couple reasons which I will cover now.
1. Your digimon is not at the right stage. Anything below champion (perfect) cannot jogress.
2. You DP is not full. It takes all of your DP to even attempt at jogress.
Now assuming you've done everything right and have made it into the jogress server, that doesn't guarantee you will jogress. First you must find a suitable digimon to jogress with. If you get a message that says "Mismatch!" then you did not pick a compatible digimon.
