I always see there is a confusion between penalty and caremistake. They are the same,no worries. What is P/C? There is only a few P/C in Digimon Unlimited a.)i.)When your phone time reaches 7pm/8pm/9pm/10pm(Sleeping time is vary for different digimon stages) When it reaches your digimon's sleeping time,if you wake it up immediately and it will triggers a P/C.Even put your digimon to sleep then wake it up,its also a P/C ii.)How to avoid P/C when your digimon is sleeping and you want to train/battle/jogress
1.)<RECOMMENDED>Change your phone's time to 7.59 and wait a minute for it to wake up.
b.)i.)Poops will not cause any P/C except if you stack it too much till your digimon is sick.
c.)i.)A overfeeding will not cause any P/C,except if you leave it for 20 minutes and above(not TESTED) ii.)Overfeeding will not weaken your digimon,so no worries to any hardcore Tamers
d.)i.)Getting injured after a battle will not trigger any P/C,except leaving it for 20 minutes(not TESTED)
e.)i.)When your digimon is hungry,it will trigger a tamer call.Leaving it for 20 minutes will cause a P/C
Note:Any icon(sick, injured, sleeping warning, hunger warning) will not trigger P/C yet unless leaving it for 20 minutes.
What will P/C do? 1.)It affects your digimon route or an exceeded amount of P/C will cause an evo fail,no matter how many % of evo rate you have.
2.)It might kill your evo failed digimon
How to get P/C easily to trigger different evolution route 1.)Set your phone's time to 6pm and after it evolves from fresh to in-training,you can easily trigger P/C by waking up them.
Enjoy the game-DexO =P

There is no need to purposely set 7.59 for it to wake to train during night time. Just change anytime you want. I guarantee this will not cause a care miss. I have been doing this from Ver 1.50 to the current 1.54 and I get my Megas. Anyone who claimed it's a care miss, they are probably unlucky or miscounted their care miss. But good thread for those who are confused!

But good thread for those who are confused! I did that too but I am not 100% proven that it will not cause any caremistake or any troubles interfering the progress of the app.So that is a safer and secured way.

I would like to add that waking him up at night is a care mistake regardless if ur turn off the lights or not just like the original digivice. I tried this approach with my current digimon and it works, I used to wake them at night and always get evo fail.

If you turned off the light and the tamer call icon subsided, and then you wake up him, it is not. Many tamers have already proven this.

Sorry avsquare I always keep track of his sleep time after I wake him up. At 9mins I stop training until he sleeps and switch off the lights and then switch it on again to wake him up, we all thought it ain't a care mistake. I never let the call icon on for more than 20-30mins.
From Algomon to Milleniummon I did all of the above and they evo failed, maybe evo success rate is low you say, well they all have between 80-90% evo success, heck Milleniummon even got champion title, with the 100+ shakes before hatch and androgochi plus the 6 digimemory thats 100%, still evo failed.
With Slayerdramon, I had 90% evo success and also have left more than 1 poop, failed to hit 100% in classic training and pill overdose, all are suspected care mistake, the last 2 I somewat did them excessively before he evo to Slayerdramon. I did them as well with Algomon down to Milleniummon and was convinced I had clean care mistake record. The difference between Slayerdramon and them is that Slayerdramon was never awaken at night. And he evolved from Coredramon blue to Wingdramon and now Slayerdramon using one simple rule, let him sleep.
So I'm convinced that DU 1.54 uitilize the same method as the original digivice where waking the digimon at night regardless if the light was switch off first or not is considered a care mistake.

When I mean wake him up I didn't mean setting time to 7.59am or 1min before he wakes up. I wake him up after switching light on and stopping activities 1min before he when back to sleep which is that they return to sleep 10mins after waking up not 15mins as mentioned in this thread.

Digimon sleeps back in 15 minutes in the Newest version

Well am just sharing my experience, with alot people who have evo failed and wonder wat care mistake they make perhaps can consider it, you cant entirely cancel it out. I wake up my digimon like nobody business too but I still evo failed. Since im being quoted I assumd all of the contents was read. The same cycle was done, call icon not left on for more than 20-30mins, at times left more than 1 poop, failed classic training and pill overdose on all digimon taken cared off the only thing not done on Slayerdramon was not waking him up at night.
Anyway Dex, you sure it was not 10mins? I always stop training after 9mins and a min and few secs later he....Zzzzz.
