I don't know if this would help but you could limit the training on the first stages to keep all the digimon equal until they go champion. From there people can start the heavy training. I myself would leave this competition just for champions, because of fail evos/deaths/etc. This about the some rookies get more power and stuff dilema.

We had already fixed the problem with low route Digimon. It can't be Champion only because most people here get to at least ultimate. And the goal here is to choose a Digimon King, and it's pretty obvious that someone who gets stuck at Champion has less of a chance to become King because he either didn't get enough battles, or didn't care for his Digimon.

Who get stuck at Champion may just simply get bad luck. Maybe not paying for Androgochi (or searching it on google) and having not enough DigiMemories also accounts. And the concept of choosing route at random may not be good, as some dg can't jog into anything not outside their families while some dg can follow their natural evo line til mega easily merely by jog, then the one who pick dg without suitable jog is again cursed. Better we should form the teams first and ppl in the team arrange who should breed which route. How can you sure ppl won't cheat with TiBu so they can bypass evo fail?

I just don't allow hacked Digimon. Using Titanium is perfectly fine to bypass an evolution fail. This is why I wanted to stay away from jogress period. Because it would bring up stuff I would be fine with and then more stuff everyone WOULDN'T be fine with. Therefore I change my verdict back to it's original no jogress state. Please, PLEASE don't bring it up again.

You only said no jogress-only digimon, not even jogressed dg not in the original family.
As you first still consider evo fail as possible circumstance, I therefore propose jogress as counter-measure for that, for any logical tamer who want to strive for higher chance to win in this tournament. Then I came with various situations when jog is allowed.
While I still don't know the problem of my mitigation measure to dg with/without jog partner, it seems you've solved that by allowing bypassing evo fail. And even those ppl without backup won't have great disadvantages if they take a good care of their dg (though they may need much more attention if they raise route B/D dg), as the power gap between evo fail adult/perfect and mega can be smaller when no max train allowed.
Then, is this no longer allowed in your new rule? Ginryu>>Hisharyu>>MetalPirani MetalPirani is originally route D mega of any rookie with X-antibody.
Anyway, even though it is still not perfect to me, I'd still sign up for the tournament, as I look for normal training pace to be competitive for so long.

Yeah I was about to ask that too.
What happens if I evo fail? Do I stay at that level or reset?

Yeah I was about to ask that too. What happens if I evo fail? Do I stay at that level or reset? You stay at that level. Also, I will be starting it once we have at least three people in each family. For now, stay with the Digimon you have.
