I realize that not everyone cares about tracking their Train count. And that is fine. I personally like to just to see how my Digimon is progressing, how strong he is currently, and to set goals on how far I want to go. This method may not be for everyone, but I hope that at least a few people out there find this sort-of-a-guide helpful ; )
I see the question every once in a while with people asking how they should keep track of their training's. Should I wright it down in a notebook? Should I count my DP bars or the individual training's? There are tons of ways to keep track of them, and all of them are fairly effective. I thought I would share my relatively quick and easy method.
Note 1: This is only accurate if you stick to one training type per session, if you frequently switch between classic and Pendulum your count will be off.
Note 2: Always remember to export your training count before an Evolution, as afterwards your Digimon's DP amount will most likely be changing.
Note 3: Requires a phone or other device that can quickly take Screenshots, and if the device has low memory this won't work very well.
I keep track of my training amount by taking a Screenshot after I deplete a bar of DP. This is a quick, paperless method that only takes a split second, and does not require leaving the app. When I'm done with my training sessions, I simply look in my phones gallery at my Screenshot album, and it tells me how many I have taken. Then, when I have time, I can quickly convert that number to a training amount and wright it down somewhere. Afterwards I can just delete the album and I'm ready to start over.
Here is the How To:
First: Note: If you have never taken a Screenshot before, you can skip this step. Empty out your Screenshot folder if there is anything in it. You can find the folder usually in Internal SD/pictures/screenshots. If you wish to save what is already there simply move it out to its own folder. If your device doesn't have a file manager, you can either download one from the play store, or you can move things around from the phones Gallery app.
Second: TRAIN!!! Choose your preferred training type, and use a full bar of DP. Afterwards take a Screenshot, most devices can take a Screenshot by holding the Power Button and the Home Button down at the same time for a second or two. If that is not the case with your device, please refer to Google with your phone type to find out how your model does it.
Third: Check how many times you trained. This one is easy, open up your devices Gallery app, look at the album called Screenshots, and it should tell you how many pictures are in the Album. That is how many bars of DP you used. Note: Always remember to multiply that number by 2 to see how many times you actually trained, because it takes 2 training's to use up 1DP.
Fourth: Export your count. It is up to you where you want to save your final total for training's. A lot of devices have some sort of Note feature built in that you can keep track of your number, you can also go the old paper route and wright it down somewhere secure. 1 DP is equal to 2 training's, of either type. So if your Digimon has 25dp, that means you trained 50 times. 1 Pendulum training equals 4 classics. So when calculating your total, if you did classic training's, you would add 50 to your score for every bar of DP that you used, and if you did Pendulum, you would multiply your training's by 4.
Fifth: DELETE! After you have recorded your training's. You always want to go back to your gallery and delete the album that has the Screenshots in it. That way, when you start training again it will be ready to go. Don't worry about deleting the Screenshot album, your device will automatically create a new one when you start taking more Screenshots.
Thank you for taking the time to read that. Questions, comments, concerns, and criticisms are all welcome
