I don't know if there's still people that know me in here since I haven't been active in a while, but if not I'll do a brief introduction of myself:
Hi, I'm Vicious. I'm not the most recurring member here or in the server but I've been around since 2013, although I wasn't registered to this site at that time. I have a bit of knowledge regarding this app, so if there's anything I can do to help just ask and I'll do my best. It's always great to have new players, so even if I haven't been able to talk or play with many of you, I welcome you to this community. I hope that you enjoy this app as much as many of us had over all these years.
Now, about the topic, for those who had known me for a while and were familiar with my alphamon Ouryuken I share with you this news. For many people grieving a virtual pet would be quite ridiculous and I'm not trying to change your mind about it, in fact if you think like that feel free to ignore this thread and sorry for taking your time. However, I have to say that for me it was valuable and that I didn't expect to feel so sad about it. Maybe it was because I have experienced so many changes in half a year and my digi was one of the things that was there before all those changes and that reminded me of how were things before, giving me comfort. Maybe it was because I grow fond of animals quite easy and while I'm aware this isn't an actual living being, I took care of it and shared many happy moments with it, similar to an actual pet in some aspects. Whatever it was, it did made me sad, specially because it was unexpected and it happened in a matter of hours. I don't know what happened, but usually strong digimon take days to die, not a couple hours. It did remind me of an experience I had with an actual pet about a year and a half ago that also had a really unexpected death, so there's that to explain better why it made me so sad. Either way, if there's people that could understand a bit about this nonsense is the people in this forum, so I choose to share it with you guys.
Don't worry, I'm not devastated or anything, but I thought it would be nice to honor my deceased pal by sharing these news and also warning you about this weird thing which by the way, also happened to a friend. I think you can still find a post I made about it. She had an omekamon. Anyway, take care of your digital buddies and enjoy them, you never know when stuff like this happens and some of them are hard to get because of the requirements to busy and distracted people like myself. It's awesome when you get your favourite digi as your pal, specially after training so hard and taking care of it so that nothing gets in the way of getting your desired digi and despite becoming bored with the app sometimes it was always nice to be able to return to it to find the little guy ready to have some fun alongside his owner. Appreciate your digis guys!
