This list will be expanding as more painfully common questions are asked, and I'll do my best to find the answers if I do not know it myself!
- What is the difference between Classic Training and Pendulum training? And what is the point of Search training?
A. Classic training will increase your attack stat by one.
Pendulum will increase it between 1-5.
So basically, 1 Pendulum session is worth 4 Classic sessions if you get a megahit. - Why do I keep losing battles!?
A. You must train for one thing. Lots and lots of training. One does not simply throw their partner into battle and expect them to win without any training. It helps to get a megahit so that your attacks will be much better. - How do I megahit?
A. A mega hit takes a certain amount of shakes for each Digimon. It will be between 2-9 shakes, and it just takes practice to see which one will result in a mega hit. Practice in Pendulum training until you manage to get a megahit. For instance, my Candlemon took 8 shakes for a megahit and when he digivolved into Wizardmon it took 4 shakes. But it should always be between 2 to 9 shakes. - How can you tell if someone you're battling is a stronger evolution? I don't want my rookie facing off against a mega!
A. Evolution stage does not matter. It is how much you train that matters. If your rookie has trained more than a champion, chances are you'll win. If your champion as trained more than a super, chances are you'll win. - How do I restore my digimon's DP?
A. Well, you can give the digimon pills, but that can make them sick if you do it too much.
The best way is to let the digimon sleep for an hour. You will not see the bar gradually get bigger. It will happen instantaneously on the hour mark. - I waited an hour but my DP did not restore!
A. I believe this is due to the phone itself force closing applications if the phone is unused for too long. If this happens then you then you need to fiddle with your phone settings so that it doesn't happen. - What does "Jogress" mean?
A. To jogress is to DNA Digivolve. Just like in 02, two digimon come together. - When I try to jogress my Digimon says no!
A. That is either because your Digimon is not at the right stage, or does not have enough DP to jogress. You have to be at least a champion and have max DP. - Why does it say mismatch when I try to jogress?
A. You can't jogress with just any digimon. There are certain compatible digimon you have to jogress with. I'm not certain if a different jogress partner makes a different Digimon. I'll get back to you all on that. We will have a section in the Tutorials board on compatible partners. - How does Digivolving work?
A. You start off with your eggs for one thing. Each egg will give you a different baby. How you treat the baby will decide what child (rookie) the Digimon will be.
For instance, if you get a Botamon, if the egg is the same as the original V-Pets, you can get either an Agumon or a Betamon. You'll start off with Botamon, and he will always change to Koromon. In order to get Agumon, you would need 0-3 care mistakes. To get a Betamon, you will need to get 4+ care mistakes.
Perfect (Champion and upward) is where it starts to get a bit more complicated.
Digivolution will depend how much you train, how much you overfeed, how many care mistakes you have, and how many sleep disturbances your digimon has had. We will have a section in the Tutorial board that will cover digimon evolutions. - My Digimon died! What do I do now?
A. Oh noes! It happens. The Digimon will eventually die. When he does you will see a computer on your pendulum. What you must do is reset the game by pressing and holding the reset button. You'll see that the formerly unusable bottom third button is now clickable. Your Digimon's data has been saved there.
Why is this important? Because saved data from deceased digimon will increase the odds of your Digimon evolving. I don't know the exact percentage, but I believe five dead grants a 30% increase.
