//ooc: Choose a digimon or a tamer. (OC tamers only please!) If you really want to, you can play both characters, but you're meeting for the first time. You have no history together, you're not instantly going to trust one another (who trusts complete strangers?). At this point in time, it's been a while since humans have been to the digital world. We want reasonable creativity and improvisation.
Rules:
- Old school digivice. Let's keep it simple. No cards/swiping/etc. You digimon's strength will come from your friendship and as trust grows, so will your strength. Also: training is appropriate, just don't act like you can wipe out armies of other digimon to be super-strong.
- OC digimon are OKAY! Just be reasonable!
- LONG POSTS ARE NOT A REQUIREMENT! A paragraph+ would be appreciated!
- If you are human, how you describe your transition into the digital world is up to you!
//Let the RP Begin! LONG INTRO - Not every post of mine is going to be so long!
Soft yellow eyes slowly peered open, vision blurry at first but starting to focus. "Wh...where am I?" came the soft, feminine voice of a small, dragon-type rookie. Bits and pieces of data flew all around her, and she realized she was floating through what seemed to be a bright, soft, blue-hued tunnel. She rubbed her eyes with her 3-clawed mittens, but still felt in a haze. "So...sleepy," she yawned, "Am I dreaming?" "You could say that," came a deep voice from all around. It was enough to snap her attention and force her to glance around, looking for someone, or perhaps something, "Who's there?"
"Don't worry, we will meet when you are ready, little one," he slowly chuckled. It was a deep, deep, deep voice. Very calming, very big, the sound of it seemed to melt right through her, almost sending a chill down her spine. "So, what is all of this?" she looked around, still floating through this tunnel, comforting light hues of blue glistening from the abyss, as symbols continue to float past and all around her. As much as she struggled to keep her eyes wide open, her eyelids felt heavy and she was trapped in a sleepy gaze. "I wanted to tell you that something is going to happen. It might not make sense to you, but you need to understand the urgency of what is about to take place," he spoke softly, with wisdom, like a kind old man who has seen the world and more.
"What do you mean?" she inquired, fighting to keep awake. She just felt so sleepy, and this atmosphere wasn't helping. "The only thing that you need to know now, is that your boundaries will be tested, and you will need to open doors, lower walls, and fight for what is right." With that, her eyes slowly drifted shut, and the calm hum of the floating data symbols, the deep voice of the mysterious wise one, and the blue haze which surrounded her, transitioned into darkness.
"Huh?!" she jerked awake to the sound of thunder, in her little nest of palm leaves and twigs. "Oh man!" she curled back up into a ball, and peered towards the opening of her small cave home. It was really pouring outside, fortunately there was a tiny 'mote' she dug just within the cave's entrance which prevented flooding. She enjoyed the rainforest area she called home, but she wasn't a fan of being awoken in such a way.
She was a small little female dragon-type digimon, a little bigger than an agumon. Her body was covered in what appeared to be a velvet-soft hide of pale green, her ears were very large and cat-like, and lined in maroon. Her 'arms' got bigger at paws' length, as a guilmon's would, and were lined with three large, maroon claws a bit bigger than the three stubs on her feet. Her face smoothly curved into a short snout, with a little snaggletooth off to each side. She had a few maroon rings (markings) around her tail, as well as one around her neck, her underbelly took on a pale yellow color. Her eyes though, pretty large in proportion to her head, as many rookies' are, a golden-bordered yellow that flickered wildly in the darkness of her cave.
She sighed, and watched the rain fall, lazy eyes half-shut. 'What a strange dream,' the little Tropimon thought to herself, 'But it was just a dream...'
