minaaaa let share our childhood memories here It was november, near my birthday. I was collecting tamagotchi at that time and my father brought me a new tamagotchi for my birthday present. When i got home after school, there's already a rectangle box on my table with digimon word written in the box . I tough it was a new tamagotchi so i try playing with it. After a day with the "v-pet" i became very bored cause it only have one training mini game and need to another one for battle while tamagotchi usually have three mini games .The next day i brought my v-pet to school, curious with my friend opinion with the new tamagotchi... i was very suprised when only the boys have the v-pet. Since then, i usually hang out with boys from other class after school for battling my v-pet. It was fun back then until my mother become very angry because i come home late. Since then i fell in love with the digimon series altough i never buy other version or the new one.

i lost mine in my old house in japan....i regreted that... How sad... '--' I lost one under my bed (don't ask me how it went there). After one day or two, it was evolved and when I found it, phew! haha The weird is that it got evolved even being forgotten for days.

I got 8 digivices back then they were the v1-v5, Pendulum 1-2 I was kid then I did alot of nasty stuff to get them with exception of v1 used my own pocket money to get it, cost about $10 then and Pendulum 1 as gift from my parents. Then....I lost them all and years later I bought the D-Cyber, lost that too. Man I suck at keeping stuff.

Wow, I still have my first two Digimon keychains! One was given to me by a friend who lost interest in it when I was 8 or 9, it was originally Blue with Grey buttons, but due to childish modifications, I ended having to transfer the chip from it into the shell of another friend's broken one, which was the most common, Brown with Black buttons. The second one I bought on Ebay for $25 bucks, back in like 2004, also Brown/Black. I got a Gen4 keychain too around the same time, but ended up giving it to a girl I had a crush on. XD I played with my Digimon from 4th grade through highschool, and still managed to keep friends. And people say V-pets were a fad, it hasn't died yet as far as I can tell! Long live the Digital World, and long live the DU Battle Server!

I hopped on the V-pet bandwagon as soon as I could.
My brother in law let me borrow some Tamagotchi knock off one day, and that was my first exposure to Virtual Pets. It was like... some sort of Babytchi that never actually grew into another shape. The shell had a picture of a UFO on it. After giving it back, I had to have my own.
So I eventually got one for Christmas. I loved it. But then I lost it. I kinda went through them alot. Tamagotchis, Giga Pet Puppy, Pocket Pikachu, some kind of Dinosaur ( confiscated by a teacher and never returned ) Furby ( im cringing that I ever liked that horrid thing ) and eventually Digimon. ( Sonic Adventure 2's Chao Garden and the Pokemon HG/SS PokeWalker too if you count those. )
Tamagotchi and Digimon are the ones I have the fondest memories of. I managed to, purely by luck, get the secret character on a P2 Tamagotchi when I was away on a vacation as a kid. I think I raised it to age 26. I felt pretty good about it. ( Currently trying to do the same thing on Tamagotchi L.I.F.E. )
I was never a really good Digimon Tamer... I'd always end up with Numemon, who would poop too much and kill itself. Only once was I able to get it to something beyond a rookie, and I was so proud, but I think I lost it shortly after it became a champion. I never got to battle either. ( That's why I'm so happy that I found out that Digimon Unlimited exists. )
I don't know how many of those little pets I've lost or had stolen over the years, but I'm sure It's in the double digits.

I got one of the first Digimon toys in my city, before the show even came out. I had wanted a Tamagotchi for a while but then Digimon came out and instantly new I wanted to play that instead. I spent about 2 years raising Digimon and would bring my Digimon to school even though we weren't allowed (Primary school badass). I had all of the Digivices except for the D-Ark which I borrowed off a friend for a bit. Eventually as I got older my Mom was cleaning out the toys in our house... There were 4 kids including me so you can only imagine how many toys each of us had. She never asked me when she got rid of anything and somehow I ended up loosing all of my Digimon toys. It still bothers me to this day even though it happened like 7-8 years ago. A lot of my friends when I was growing up had Digivices and I had a lot of memories playing with them. They were the only toys I really wanted to keep from my childhood and now they are gone and cost hundreds of dollars to replace. I can't even really be mad at my Mom because she never knew that it meant that much to me. Redemption of this story is that I bought a D-Ark on eBay for $35 yesterday so I will have my own Digivice again soon but I still really miss my very first v-pet... He was red and had black buttons and I will never see him again.

I'd say my favorite memory off the top of my head, would be reminiscing about it but the best was when I found it again and earned myself a skullgreymon! I had the version 2. Used to battle it with my digivice from the anime series. Man, I loved that thing. Was never out of my hands
