So yeah. I've been reading these forums whilst playing DU at work, and been seeing a lot of talk about having multiple digimon and how it's "not possible".
Well it is. First off, you need a rooted phone, and you need to download two apps; Titanium Backup and SuperSU. In Titanium Backup, you can create multiple "data profiles". So I created two data profiles on my phone. From there, you can then go to the Backup/Restore list and select Digimon Unlimited, switch over to Special Actions for DU and select "Enable multiple data profiles for this app".
NOTE: You may need to pay $7.99 for the Titanium Backup PRO key in order to use data profiles. I really should've checked into that before I purchased the pro key for myself.
What that allows you to do is set your first data profile up for DU as your main one without losing your current digimon. You can then switch the data profile over from the Titanium Backup main screen, load DU again, and you'll be starting with a brand new Digimon. Your main digimon will, as far as I can tell, be "frozen" until you switch to your main data profile again.
Reason why I said "as far as I can tell" is because I haven't done any further testing on whether or not switching data profiles essentially freezes your digimon. It may just look like it at first, until you actually do a battle or some other action that would cause your digimon to "snap" into it's current state.
So yeah. Just figured I'd sign up here and post this. I'd post screenshots and such, but my phone is currently charging. And yes, I do currently do this, and I have two digimon on the go; a Mummymon, and a rookie Digimon from Nature Spirits.
