So, I just installed DU ver. 1.26. I enter the application and all I see is the window with"Registering on the server". I waited and waited and nothing, the registering just goes on and on!
Is it because I have the outdated version 1.56. installed??

It sounds like an issue with your internet. Are you using internet from a school/government run facility?

My suggestion :
- you can try to download from facebook page (raven DU facebook).
- or you can download it from proboards
- from my experience before, that will solve the problem.

That still happens to me sometimes. But I'll force close and reopen and it'll be ok. If it doesn't register at all after retries, then that's different.
