many people feel unfair about rookie can defeat mega level digimon... in my opinion, of course, keep training is a path to stronger our digimon, by the way, evolution also should increase our digimon attack. for example: champion --ultimate, gain extra 20 (example) on its attack, of course, nature evo should gain higher than jorgess as nature evo is harder than that. so each form can gain extra attack after your digimon success from digivolution, that should be a point y ppl keep evo their digimon no only desire a cool digimon but also stronger and higher chance to win in battle. Beside that, i encounter a problem on battle server which it no allowed room maker to create a private room (set up a password)to enjoy the battle with friends or someone who i would like to invite. Of course, if no create a password mean we invited all player to battle..let say i owned a rookie digimon, when i create a room, all mega or ultimate will click and battle..in the end i felt upset with battle because keep losing.. If can connect with bluetooth that i think it will be a perfect app for all of us. Thanks.

The problem with your first suggestion about gaining extra attack by digivolving is that you're condemning all those people that like their rookie and champion/adult digimon. Why should they be given a short stick on attack. The way the system is setup is to allow every level of digimon to have the chance of taking on any other. IMO
And there is no issue with the battle server when it comes to making private room's. That's just the way it is for now and might change in the future. If you don't wanna be snipped by ultimate's and mega's you can always battle rookie qr codes.

should being the key word.
But back to the topic:
As Plasmus said, this method allows for people who like younger digimon to compete. However older digimon have more DP, so there is still an advantage to digivolving.
As for why there are not private rooms, its because the focus when it comes to the server is to fit more people without kicking them or lagging. Remember this is a free app, and I'm sure it is hard to maintain the servers.

I dunno, I think there is a reasonable logic in allowing what would be a stronger digimon in the anime to be stronger in the vpet too. however I would also suggest that training would be considered too and I'm no developer but if it were possible I think the best way to do it would be: Allowing training to be carried on so that those who did want to train their digimon could do so but when they digivolve it would add onto the training already completed by the earlier form of the digimon and give them that bit of an edge. because it is a challenge in itself to digivolve beyond champion and that should be recognised. I do accept though that jogressing should not or not have such a influence on the power of the new digimon.

The training does get carried over. So you can start your training session anytime you want.
