so far in the small tournies i see every match is always a bo3...
given how chance-based battles can turn out, i suggest future tourney organizers to have at least say, the quarter or semifinals and above to be at least a best of 5 or 7 match.
anecdotal evidence: i fought another alphamon ouryuken on server not too long ago, i lost the first 2 battles but proceed to steamroll (beat in 2 rounds in all 3 fights)in the next 3 matches i have with him. If the match have been a bo3 its a win for him, if its bo5 it would have been me.
in fact theoretically between 2 almost equal-skilled opponents, it is hard to guage a winner until you have at least played 100 matches between them of course this is unfeasible but this is just to show that small best-of (like bo3) matches very badly represent the real winner.
also room advantage should be noted between 2 different level opponents. Inherently lower level digis would have an advantage if they create the room. Tournies should always have higher level digimons create the room as a rule preferably.

Thing is, with the server being as it is, out of 5/7 would take very long. Even the other day we had a bit of an issue doing the third battle because the participants kept getting sniped. If we had 2 more battles it wouldn't be a major headache.
I can consider it for at least the finals, tho, and I'll take the room advantage in mind.
